Syrian Infiltration in Wadi Khaled

More than 20 Syrian soldiers have infiltrated 500 meters deep into Lebanese territory in the northern province of Akkar, An Nahar newspaper reported on Monday.
It quoted sources on the Lebanese-Syrian border as saying that the soldiers entered the area of Rajam Beit Khalaf and al-Kalkha in Wadi Khaled.
The sources said residents saw the 20 soldiers entering the outskirts of their villages and heading towards the valley of al-Sarhaniyeh river. By Monday morning, it was not clear if the Syrian troops were still in the valley that separates Lebanon from the neighboring country.
Investigation is underway to figure out “what is happening on the ground in this region,” the sources added.
A unit from the Syrian military accidentally fired at the Lebanese army after it infiltrated northern Lebanon two weeks ago, reported the National News Agency.
It said that a 15-member unit entered an area near the town of al-Mwanseh as it was following shepherds along the Lebanese-Syrian border.

Why doesn't Lebanon file a UN Complaint against Syria for all these violations. The Tyrant's army has so far killed a Lebanese woman and wounded many Lebanese citizens, they have opened fire on Lebanese soldiers numerous times, how much more do we need before filing a complaint ? we do it against Israel all the time for much simpler reasons

it is clearer by the day that we are going to iakisation style in syria,and the regime in syria is eager to remain holding the lebanese card.....the regime in syria want to drag the lebanese into the inferno he is going in...infiltration or not, the lebanese army looks a lot more confident on the ground than the army/regime on the syrian side.

By ignoring such incursions by the Syrian army, we are weakening any UN complaints we may raise about incursions by the Israelis.
Things are going to get worse as Syria enters the full-fledged civil war phase.

Hey "Lebanese" Zionists, there is a Syrian-Lebanese treaty that allows Syria to send troops into Lebanon, without permission, if there are groups in Lebanon creating security problems in Syria. Look it us! It's called a friendship treaty, or something like that, signed in 1990 if I remember correctly.

you forgot that the syrian regim doesn t occupy lebanon anymore! so this incursion is a violation of the lebanese sovereignty!
so it is just the same as when israel enters lebanon! be logic if you have some and not blinded by your support to a murderer regime...
unless you think lebanon is only a province of syria....
