A French delegation will reportedly arrive in Lebanon in the upcoming weeks to tackle the shipping of $3 billion worth of weapons paid for by Saudi Arabia to the Lebanese military.
According to As Safir newspaper published on Monday, a military-technical French delegation will discuss with the army command the delivery of the first batch of weapons that are expected to arrive in Lebanon in April.
Information obtained by the daily said that the development comes in light of the payment of 20 percent of the grant to French authorities.
Saudi Arabia and France inked the deal in Riyadh in November.
The deal also includes training programs for the Lebanese army run by the French military.
It aims to boost Lebanon's military as it struggles to contain the rising tide of violence linked to the civil war in neighboring Syria.
H.K.
G.K.

More arms for our army the better, Hezbollah and ISIS use their precious arms to justify their existence. Give our army what they need and they will be the dominant force. Not a bunch of savages invading from the East, nor the fake "friends" that attempt to equate our army with them (yet are manipulative savages). Give our army what they deserve, enough to dominate all who oppose. If you disagree? Well, I see someone's not Lebanese. Enjoy!

1 billion dollars yea right. Where is that 1 billion dollars or the 3 billion dollars promised over a year ago. Stop embarrassing yourself dude.
