Syrian Rockets Land on Hnaider Home, Security Sources Deny
إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربيةThe house of a Lebanese villager in the northern town of Hnaider was hit by two rockets that came from the Syrian side of the border in the area of Wadi Khaled, Voice of Lebanon radio station (93.3) reported Tuesday.
VDL said that the rockets hit the home of Khaled al-Assaad on Monday night but did not cause any casualties.
However, security sources later denied to VDL (100.5) that the Syrian army had shelled the village, saying the residents of Hnaider and al-Knaisseh spent a calm night.
As Safir daily quoted Hnaider residents as saying that Syrian soldiers deployed on the other side of the border opened machine gunfire and launched two rockets on their town.
They said the incident is part of a plan to terrorize the residents in Wadi Khaled and villages of Jabal Akroum under the excuse of carrying out anti-smuggling operations or pursuing Syrian army dissidents.
The residents again appealed for help from Lebanese security agencies and the army. They said the armed forces should either protect them or urge the Syrian military for an end to its operations.
Resistance!!???
Oh you mean the guys sitting on the Syrian side pointing out targets for the Syrian army
the zionist information war department invented the even and their rabid dogs went on to spread their filth on non existing subject
of course slash would remember every case of syrians torturing someone but if you ask him about one name that dies in al khiam prison he wouldn't know
@jabalamel If you are a true Lebanese you will care about every Lebanese that has been tortured, murdered or killed. It doesnt matter if it was the Syrians or the Israelis, the only way to achieve unity in our country is to condemn all these horrifying acts against our Lebanese brothers and sisters. Lebanon has been harmed at the hands of both the Israelis and the Syrians, and no matter where your alliace stands this is completely unacceptable.
