Armed Robbery at Credit Libanais Bank in Khaldeh

Two gunman robbed on Wednesday the Credit Libanais Bank branch in Khaldeh taking LL100 million and fleeing to an unknown destination.
One of the gunmen held a military weapon while the other one held a knife threatening the bank employees to succumb to their demands, the state-run National News Agency reported.
They ran to an unidentified location using a medium sized motorcycle.
The Voice of Lebanon Radio (93.3) said that the assailants did not cover their faces and have threatened the bank employees.
Investigations were kicked off in search for the suspects.

VDL : the assailants were members of the iranian terrorist militia of hezbollah.
Judicial sources confirmed to VDL the arrest of the assailants who were riding a motorcycle after robbing the Bank. The two confessed to their crime voluntarily. Military Intelligence intercepted the assailants at the entrance of Beirut southern suburbs as they were fleeing the crime scene. The assailants were referred to the military judge for further questioning and possible indictment.
Hezbollah is a known terrorist organizations with links to organized crime, money laundering, political assassinations, and drug trafficking. The leader of the group has publicly encouraged his fanatical followers to use, trade and export drugs to finance his terrorist activities in many parts of he world. Hezbollah is a shiite group closely associated with the fundamentalist regime in Iran.
