Hassan’s Promotion May Be Delayed to 2012
إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربيةPresident Michel Suleiman approved on Friday promotions of Internal Security Forces officers ranked up to colonel, in a measure that was approved by ISF chief Ashraf Rifi and Premier Najib Miqati.
Official sources told the daily An Nahar in remarks published on Saturday that the development has not settled the dispute over the promotion of ISF Intelligence Bureau chief Brigadier General Wissam al-Hassan, noting that a procedure could be adopted that would allow his promotion to be effective in 2012.
The promotions do not include officers ranked above colonel, but a proposal on the matter was made by Rifi.
He made the suggestion to Interior Minister Marwan Charbel who is yet to approve it, they added.
The proposal has not yet been relayed to Prime Minister Najib Miqati, they continued.
Meanwhile, Public Works and Transportation Minister Ghazi Aridi stressed that promotions should encompass all ISF officers, urging officials to “issue the necessary decree without delay and not wrong any of those who deserve the promotion,” reported the daily al-Liwaa Saturday.
Mustqabal bloc MP Ahmed Fatfat revealed that Charbel informed him that a solution to the promotion of officers ranked colonel and above is being devised, reported As Safir newspaper Saturday.
He should be promoted if and only if cheikh Imbecile returns to Lebanon AND THROUGH DAMASCUS AIRPORT as he promised the m3alla2in bi 7bel el hawa. ntoro ya kadeyesh ta tenbot al 7asheyesh
the fact that mr Wissam is still alive means that he is well( pistonner )so no worries about him ,he is a big shot , he only has to worry when YELLI CHTAROU YERJA3OO YBI3OU
Hassan will neverrrrrr get a promotion , these 2 men in the picture , will soon end in jail , after the liberation of the innocent General Fayez Karam on November 24 . Or will have a one way ticket to join their Saudi master in KSA .
Is it possible for once in this country to have a serious investigation by a serious unbiased committee? This is what should be done to Rifi & Hassan, and let the committee's decision prevail, whether in their favor or not.
