Speaker Nabih Berri has told Special Envoy for the implementation of Security Council Resolution 1559 Terje Roed-Larsen that the national dialogue is causing stability in Lebanon despite being “slow.”
“The dialogue is a factor of stability and there is progress in it,” Berri told him in a phone conversation, according to al-Joumhouria daily published on Monday.
“Despite recording a slow progress, it can be counted on,” he said.
Their conversation took place on Sunday when Roed-Larsen telephoned him to inquire about the path that the dialogue is taking.
The all-party talks kicked off last month under the chairmanship of Speaker Nabih Berri.
The next session is scheduled to be held on October 26.

Dear Mr. Berri
are you aware I live in Australia, born in Australia, don't speak Arabic and my great grandfather bless his soul told me all I know about general Aoun and Sayyid Hassan.

Monsieur de Barry: how many millions? How about returning some ???
Mr, Berri is trying to extend his reason to exist, behind every single move from Berri to Al Mashnouq, it's all about staying a little longer around, at our expense.
