Head of the Mustaqbal Movement MP Saad Hariri is expected to make a much-anticipated return to Lebanon soon, reported As Safir newspaper on Tuesday.

It said that Hariri will return to the country “within five weeks at most.”

He may resort to a similar surprise visit like the one he did over a year ago, it added.

Hariri left Lebanon in early 2011, months after the collapse of his national unity cabinet. He has repeatedly claimed that security reasons were preventing his return to Beirut.

He last paid a visit to his country in August 2014.

"Hariri has repeatedly claimed that security reasons were preventing his return to Beirut."

If it was merely a claim, then why did the reformist corrupt aoun say if Hariri elects him (aoun) as president then aoun will guarantee Hariri's safety... LOL.

Saudi scientists have developed a means to create skiable snow in the moderate tropical climate of Lebanon, a Hariri spokeslady announced today in Geneva and Paris. "Now it is only a matter of connecting the dots," she told friends of the Emir-designate. She was wearing a full-length Gucci gown with pock-marked decorations commemorating, as she told an appreciate gathering, "the deplorable state of Lebanon's roads."

When asked why she'd said "appreciate" instead of the proper "appreciative", she had the questioner whisked tidily from the room, as Swiss and French officials tut-tutted moderately.

He has to be present for the election of the president.

Coming to Lebanon twice a year does not count as "being present." These are politicized trips that mean nothing.
