Woman Wanted over Spying for Israel Arrested
A Lebanese woman wanted over spying for Israel was arrested on Wednesday, the National News Agency said.
“The General Directorate of State Security has managed to arrest Lebanese woman J.Y. in the Metn area of Sed el-Bauchrieh,” NNA said.
The fugitive woman had been sentenced to ten years in jail on charges of “collaborating with the Israeli enemy,” the agency added.
During interrogation, she confessed to “carrying out an act of sabotage in Lebanon on behalf of the Israeli enemy and to entering the occupied Palestinian territories several times in the past,” NNA said.
