The Drug Enforcement Bureau in the South destroyed on Monday 55 kilograms of heroin and 14 kilograms of cannabis and arrested their traffickers, the National News Agency reported.

NNA said the drugs that were confiscated from various areas in southern Lebanon were set on fire in the coastal city of Sidon.

The destroyed narcotics also included 40 cigarettes with drug substances, it added.

The agency identified the traffickers by their initials as J.M. and J.J.

South Lebanon Prosecutor Samih al-Hajj and the head of the drug enforcement bureau, Col. Adel Mashmoushi, attended the event.

Who are the drug dealers in the south? Who can operate anything in the south? I dare not say the name or Qassem will start a law suit against me.
