إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربيةArmy chief Gen. Jean Qahwaji discussed with the French chief-of-staff, Gen. Bertrand Ract-Madoux, ways to consolidate military cooperation between the two countries, the National News Agency reported on Friday.
Their meeting took place at Qahwaji’s office in Yarze. The chief-of-staff of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon, Brig. Gen. Olivier de la Maisonneuve, also attended the talks.
NNA said the two parties discussed ways to strengthen the military cooperation between the French and Lebanese armies, and the mission of the French contingent working as part of UNIFIL.
Qahwaji accompanied President Michel Suleiman to the South on Thursday during which the head of state vowed to provide greater protection to UNIFIL.
Earlier in the month, a roadside bombing targeted a French patrol in the southern city of Tyre, injuring five peacekeepers.
I understand. That is why I made the point about the state caucus to come up with acceptable Presidential candidates. My fear is we have too many conservatives that may split our vote and let a Romney, Christie get in.
as if the frenchies are idiots, the french army will cooperate with a LEBANESE ARMY.. not army/hizballah/and their people.
looks like french military is aware that bomb was put by zionist mercenaries from extreme muslim brotherhood (or some similar so called muslim group)
the lebanese military is already capped by hassoun, the frenchies are meeting just to get some intelligence.
Good for Hannity, hammering Mc Cain. Mc Cain off as so slimey. He completely bought into the Obama narrative and talks about the great calamity to come if there is no agreement, and continues to blast the Tea Party.
