Geagea Says Turkey Concerned over Developments in Syria

Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea said on Tuesday that the ongoing Syrian crisis poses a threat to the neighboring countries and the region in general.
“The 10-month revolt in Syria, seems endless after President Bashar Assad’s speech… which threatens the neighboring countries and the region,” Geagea said in remarks published in An Nahar newspaper.
He stressed that the Turkish government is highly concerned about the developments in Damascus as it is convinced of the need to do something about it.
“The case requires some serious thinking between the countries in the region and Europe,” Geagea noted.
The LF leader, who went on a short visit to Kurdistan in Iraq last week, met senior officials and deputy Turkish Foreign Minister ambassador Fereydun Sinirlioglu.
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, once a close ally of Assad, has been at the forefront of international criticism over the Damascus regime's bloody crackdown on protests.
Turkey has also become a haven for many Syrian opposition activists since the start of the uprising in March 2011, which has claimed more than 5,000 lives, according to U.N. estimates.

Syria was given a green light from the US to eliminate the person who insulted the ambassadors, this is history and most of the politicians today must be thrown in Jail except the person above who already paid that expensive price due to a boloney fake accusation of a church bomb, similar to the intelligence headquarter bomb in Damascus where many of the killed bodies were captured by the Shabiha and eliminated in the blast.
