One Soldier Killed in an Ambush in Hermel
One member of the Lebanese Army was killed and a second was injured on Saturday in an ambush in the al-Shawagir area in Hermel, the National News Agency reported on Saturday.
A statement released by the Army’s Orientation Directorate said the two soldiers were heading via their vehicle to visit someone in Hermel, when their car was ambushed by gunmen.
One of the soldiers was killed and a second was injured, added NNA.
The perpetrators headed to an unknown destination.
Army units deployed in the area and began investigations to track them down, said the agency.

I hate to say it, but this never happens to the army by armed Christians, in predominantly Christian areas. Why are all of the worst areas controlled by either Iqwan or HA? Where is the scary Christian area where the army will get shot?
