PSP Delegation Met Hariri in UAE
A Progressive Socialist Party delegation led by MP Taymour Jumblat and MP Wael Abu Faour has met with al-Mustaqbal Movement leader ex-PM Saad Hariri in the United Arab Emirates, al-Jadeed television reported.
PSP sources meanwhile told al-Jadeed that the talks were “comprehensive” and that several topics were discussed.
PSP general secretary Zafer Nasser for his part told al-Jadeed in an interview that “the relation with ex-PM Saad Hariri is a political relation that is not limited to the parliamentary elections.”

No reasonable person can dispute the fact that Druze and Maronites are the rocks and foundation on which Lebanon was founded and their survival and prosperity is linked to a free, democratic, independent and neutral Lebanon. No reasonable person can dispute the fact that Lebanese Sunni are the most tolerant, educated, enlightened, and democratic Sunnis in the world. They were courted by France and other European nations to be a guiding light for the Sunni communities in Europe that are growing in numbers and influence (after Turkey lost its role). Jumblat and Saad lost their roads and took their community on wrong path of compromises with the devil. Hopefully Taymour is smarter than his father and stick with the principles that made Lebanon the glorious city on the hill for decades before Palestinian military, Syrian army and the Basij took over. Phoenix will rise again as few countries have the human resources of Lebanon.
