Mouawad denies 'fabrications' about 'communication with Hezbollah'
Opposition presidential candidate MP Michel Mouawad on Tuesday denied that he is “communicating with Hezbollah.”
“Some known and tendentious parties are trying to fabricate reports about communication that I’m carrying out with Hezbollah, claiming that I’m keen to keep my meetings confidential,” Mouawad tweeted.
“I would like to confirm that these fabrications are baseless and ridiculous like those launching them,” the MP added.
“My stances are firm, my relations are public and I’m extending my hand to everyone under the ceiling of the state, institutions, the Taif Agreement and Arab and international legitimacies,” Mouawad emphasized.
