Bassil says freedom, independence and sovereignty are incomplete
Free Patriotic Movement chief Jebran Bassil on Tuesday tweeted that the date of March 14, 1989 marked “the beginning for regaining freedom, sovereignty and independence,” in reference to the day on which General Michel Aoun declared a “war of liberation” against Syrian forces stationed in Lebanon.
“In 2005, we regained them after a difficult struggle, but it turned out that keeping them is more difficult!” Bassil added.
“Because freedom is incomplete when you accept that someone impose something on you, independence is incomplete when your finances are mortgaged, and sovereignty is incomplete when the free decision is missing,” the FPM chief explained.
My god those FPM are really going senile. Who are the ones imposing on you, mortgaging your finances and is taking decisions for you? Aren't they the same people you allied with? Who got your father-in-law to be president? "War of liberation" where your father-in-law ended up running away to hide abroad while his men were executed by the same men you are allied with. Why not talk about the war against militias? Oh wait, again, your father-in-law came out of hiding and allied himself with the biggest militia in the country...I can go on forever, how do they have no shame? I don't understand.
Before a man speaks it is always safe to assume that he is a fool. After he speaks, it is seldom necessary to assume it.
