Mikati to call for cabinet session next week

Caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati will call next week for a cabinet session, his advisor said Thursday.

Cabinet was scheduled to convene last Monday but the session on public sector wages was postponed, after the government said last week that it will delay the start of daylight saving time by a month until the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.

The move led to mass confusion, and Monday's session was replaced with another session that discussed the daylight delay move.

The cabinet session, that was postponed, had a single item on its agenda, the wages and compensations of the public and private sectors.

In simple words, any politician in power since 2019 is responsible for bankrupting Lebanon, devaluating lira, stealing people's lifetime savings, transforming Lebanon into a Banana Republic under Basij occupation, and destroying our institutions should be in prison. All written and visual news media will do us a great favor if they stop reporting on these jerks!
