Celebrations in Lebanon and its Palestinian camps after Hamas historic operation

W460

Hundreds of people took to the streets Saturday in some Lebanese areas and in the country’s Palestinian refugee camps in celebration of Hamas’ unprecedented operation that has stunned Israel.

In the Bourj al-Barajneh camp south of Beirut, residents danced in the streets, while young men in the northern city of Tripoli distributed celebratory sweets to passersby in the streets.

Demonstrators also took to the streets in the southern city of Sidon and in Beirut's southern suburbs.

In the Bekaa Valley, pro-Palestinian demonstrators blocked the roads. The country's highest Sunni religious authority meanwhile called for mosques to broadcast "God is great" over loudspeakers following afternoon prayers "in solidarity with our people in Palestine."

From the River to the Sea Palestine shall be free, bravo the Palestinians! I don't like Islamists, but Hamas operating inside occupied Palestine isn't a terrorist organization, unlike Hezbollah for instance.

Just don't drag Lebanon into it, if the Palestinians inside Lebanon want to fight, give them weapons and let them use them on the southern border to reclaim their homes.

That is quite a contradiction since the Resistance are one.

La2, once the 'Resistance' leaves its own country it become an occupation force and frankly a terrorist one.
