Army chief meets US Congress delegation
Army Commander General Joseph Aoun on Friday met at his office in Yarze with a delegation of assistants of U.S. Congress members, an army statement said.
The meeting was also attended by U.S. defense attache Colonel Aimee Mowry.
“The discussions tackled the general situations in the country, the situations of the military institution and the challenges it is facing, in addition to the developments on the southern border,” the statement added.
