Four civilians wounded in strikes on Majadel and Shihine as relative calm returns

Three civilians were injured Tuesday in an Israeli drone strike on the southern town of al-Majadel in the Tyre district, as relative calm returned following a heavy exchange of strikes between Israel and Hezbollah on Sunday.

A fourth civilian was moderately injured in a strike on Shihine, the Health Ministry said.

Israeli artillery shelled the outskirts of Borj al-Moulouk and Hezbollah targeted surveillance equipment in the Dovev barracks and buildings used by soldiers in Netu'a.

Hezbollah attacked on Monday evening with an array of suicide drones Israeli command centers in Shraga and Ayelet Hashahar "in response to Israeli attacks on southern villages" and on Sidon.

On Monday, "a man from a Palestinian organization" had survived a strike on his car in Sidon near Abra's entrance. Also in Sidon, Khalil al-Maqdah, a commander in the armed wing of the Palestinian Fatah movement, was targeted and killed in an air strike on his car last week.

Overnight, Israeli artillery shelled Dhaira, Tayrharfa and Zebqine, and a civilian was hospitalized for asphyxiation due to white phosphorus bombs that targeted al-Wazzani.

Warplanes raided al Khirdali-Deir Mimas and the outskirts of Deir al-Siryan and al-Naqoura.
