Fadlallah: Netanyahu won't take through politics what he couldn't through war

Hezbollah lawmaker Hassan Fadlallah said Wednesday that the second phase of Israel’s ground operation in south Lebanon “will not give it the victory image it is seeking” after “its failure in the first ground campaign.”

“Despite the magnitude of the huge loss at the civilian and urban levels, our people have no choice but to continue the resistance and resilience in the face of the Israeli brutalism, and (Israeli PM Benjamin) Netanyahu will not take through politics what he couldn’t through war,” Fadlallah added, in a speech marking 40 days since the assassination of senior Hezbollah official Sayyed Hashem Safieddine.

“Our country will not submit to the enemy’s conditions,” Fadlallah stressed.

Shut up, have you no dignity nor shame? You caused this when you started this war against the wishes and advice of 75% of the Lebanese including most of your allies. You said the enemy will never dare attack. You lost all your official and now your party is run politically and militarily directly by a what Bagher Ghalibaf called a permanent Iranian commander.

Too young or too stupid (or both) to remember that war, unless fed with the painful compromises of politics and contrition, will devour everything in its path without mercy or care.

No one trusts Hezbollah or what it stands for or pursues ...

Fadlallah's words and opinions are worthless, without merit, and not representative of the Lebanese people he swore to represent as a parliamentarian. Lawmakers like him should leave foreign affairs to the Prime Minister and President, and instead fix the corruption at his level, in his district, and in his files.

Your lies are laughable. HizbIran did not liberate the South but occupied it making it an Iranian rocket base. Hizb is not protecting the South but only Iranian tunnels & rockets as Iran first line of defense while South is destroyed. Hizb is what is causing South invasion, destruction and killing only to improve Iran’s negotiations & hegemony over Arab lands. Hizb is nothing but an Iranian brigade training other terrorists. Clearly Hizb advanced rockets, like Houthis, were to threaten Mediterranean sea as Iran blackmail the west. Hizb fighters are the ones that assassinated Hariri, Tueni, Shateh, Slim and dozens others. They have occupied the Country and its institutions transforming Lebanon from the shining city on the hill to a beggar bankrupt destitute nation. They are Lebanon enemies and must be brought to justice. When would the army finally behave like an army and protect Lebanon by disarming Hizb & put its criminal leaders in Jail to face justice for their million victims?
