Lebanon's new president Joseph Aoun Saturday promised the de-facto leader of Saudi Arabia that his first post-election trip abroad would be to the powerful Gulf kingdom, the presidency said.

Aoun told Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in a phone call that "Saudi Arabia would be the first destination in his visits abroad," it said, after the Saudi prince called to congratulate him on taking office on Thursday following a two-year vacancy in the position.

Bravo and well done.
Always be grateful and thankful to those who supported the Lebanese Army AND all Lebanese people WHILE we needed help.
Thank you.

Unless Hizb is totally disarmed in 30 days, electing a reformist respected and competent cabinet, and dismantling the political mafia and its corrupt networks; Joseph Aoun will turn into another Michel Aoun. No aid should be given by any nation prior to Hizb complete disarmament and country on path of massive reforms with a new honest, competent, effective and transparent government.
