Ortagus says ceasefire violation came from Lebanon, Israel had right to respond

Deputy U.S. Special Envoy for Middle East Morgan Ortagus said that Friday’s ceasefire violation came from Lebanon and that Israel had the right to respond.
She was speaking to Al-Arabiya TV after Israel carried out an airstrike in Beirut’s southern suburbs, the first since the end of the war, in response to two rockets that were fired from Lebanon.
Adding that Washington does not want to see a bigger conflict between Lebanon and Israel, Ortagus stressed the need to fully disarm Hezbollah and said that the Lebanese Army was not doing enough effort to prevent rocket fire at Israel.
Ortagus also said that the U.S. wants to see real economic reform in Lebanon.
Responding to a question, the U.S. official said Washington wants peace between Lebanon and Israel after strengthening the ceasefire agreement and conducting diplomatic negotiations.

It seems that the only ones who are not interested in real economic reform in Lebanon is the Lebanese Government itself. France and the US are applying pressure, but it looks as if they are talking to a stone wall.

Hezbollah does not understand what peace and what true democracy means, those of them who understands it are right now in Michigan.
Catch every Hezb leader and throw them in jail for disrupting the peace of LEBANON first and then causing other countries to destabilize it.
