Israeli troops cross into Lebanon as shells hit Aita al-Shaab
An Israeli infantry force on Friday crossed the border into the al-Wazzani parks in south Lebanon, the National News Agency said.
The Lebanese Army had overnight confronted an Israeli force that crossed into the outskirts of Alma al-Shaab, forcing it to retreat, after it carried out bulldozing works and cut some trees.
Israeli artillery shells meanwhile targeted the Abou Laban neighborhood in the southern town of Aita al-Shaab on Friday, as Israeli warplanes overflew the western and central sectors of south Lebanon.
