Aoun, Raad agree to 'address differences with keenness on national interest'
President Joseph Aoun met Thursday in Baabda with MP Mohammad Raad, the head of Hezbollah’s Loyalty to Resistance parliamentary bloc.
A terse statement issued by the Presidency said the two men discussed “a number of national issues and junctures.”
They also “agreed to address differences with keenness on achieving the higher national interest,” the Presidency added.

It seems to me lately that whenever anyone meets with President Joseph Aoun in Baabda the only statements issued are by “the Presidency”, nothin from the visitors. Are those issuing the statements Joseph Aoun’s advisers; most of them are the old advisers to Michel Aoun, Émile Lahoud and Nabih Berri? BTW did Mohammad Raad promise Joseph Aoun to hand over Wafiq Safa, you know to show Hezbollah’s keenness on achieving the higher national interest?
