Israel army detonates houses in Aitaroun in south Lebanon

An Israeli army force detonated Tuesday at dawn four houses in the southern border town of Aitaroun in south Lebanon.

A force had also detonated houses in Houla on Monday, with the Israeli army saying that the "buildings were used by Hezbollah."

Despite a ceasefire reached in November last year, Israel has continued to launch near-daily airstrikes in Lebanon and to occupy several strategic points on the Lebanese side of the border. Troops have entered many times into border areas in south Lebanon.

An Israeli armed incursion last month killed a municipal worker in the southern border town of Blida.

"Army refuses to raid houses in south in search for Hezbollah weapons, report says" (Naharnet yesterday) OK, but I guess that they would have no hesitation to do house-to-house searches for weapons in Ashrafiyeh...?
