After Hezbollah supporters protest, Lebanese Army vows to keep peace
The Lebanese military has vowed to maintain public order, after Hezbollah supporters staged street protests against the government's signing of an agreement with Israel.
On Friday evening, after Israeli and Lebanese envoys met in Washington to agree a framework to pave the way towards a peace deal, many Hezbollah supporters took to the streets of Beirut.
Motorcyclists chanted slogans and the state news agency said at least one road was blocked by burning tires.
The army did not mention Hezbollah by name in its statement, and reaffirmed its "respect for the right to peaceful freedom of expression."
But it urged citizens "to act responsibly amid calls for demonstrations and protests in Beirut and other areas."
And it warned: "The Army Command will not allow any breach of security or threat to civil peace through actions with unpredictable consequences, road blockages, or attacks on public or private property."

Why don’t the Hezbollah supporters have the Lebanese flag with them????
They are the cancer to Lebanon, all the hardship is from the supporters of foreign countries. When Lebanese depend on or support an evil foreign power, Lebanon losses and so do the many supporters of the foreign power. Wake up Shiia community, look at how the Iranians want out of the regime. You are just a puppet for Iran to play with until they get bored with you and can no longer support you.
