May god bless the soul of the man trying to stop the robbery.

We need more of these courageous men in Lebanon but hopefully one day we will have a functioning police taking care of these matters.

FT you are right that the police cant be everywhere, but there could be some more police stations around the country.
Add to that more activity with visible patrols and the right to shoot at criminals that do not obey the rules, and do not halt when ordered to.

This country has been in principle without any real government for almost 40 years now. It leads eventually to what we are seing now in form of a peak in crimes.

Stricter Enforcements on all border points.
Lots of criminals are coming from Syria or are smuggled through from other countries. I strongly urge the authorities to implement a Visa System at all borders, especially for Syrian nationals. Please, understand that there are good Syrians, but the criminal elements are taking advantage of the non existence of entry restrictions to Lebanon. According to the ministry of Interior,95% of all new crimes today are committed by criminals of Syrian nationals.

The internal trouble in Syria has caused lots of hardships to many Syrians...Crime has no discrimination to the Lebanese different factions or political affiliations. Everybody is affected,so all should be united on this issue.
There is no deterent for a foreign criminal. Commit a crime, keep a low profile for few days, then, rejoin your town/city in Syria through legal or illegal border crossings. CATCH ME IF YOU CAN SUCKERS.....We need to start a PETITION to set up a Visa System at all borders.

You know that HA is against cameras as they fear being spied on by Azrael. Since all is networked and it can be hacked. Let's remain in our caverns...l it's safer.
