didn't he recently visit the U.S.? how about spending the millions of dollars at home helping young Christians buying homes? I thought you were worried about Christians leaving Lebanon! It is good to visit the flack abroad, but it seems with this Patriarch it is the other way around.

oh the horror! instead of practicing segregation, this guy treats all Lebanese as equals. Yes, why does he travel to clear misconceptions about Lebanon and explain why his political side refuses to have another civil war? He should be a good colonial subject and burry his head in the sand, and have a civil war when americans and saudi's order him to have one. Btw, when a trip is not undertaken by corrupt saudi puppets like geagea and harir, it costs just a few thousands, not millions.

Or maybe he realizes that there is a vast Lebanese community abroad and wants to do something about it. Millions of dollars? Last time I checked a plane ticket was about ~$1500 to the Americas. Also if you know anything about how the church works, they send priests around the world all the time.

Do you think he goes by himself in economy class? or do you think he takes buses to go about? or do you think he stays in cheap motels? or do you think he eats at McDonalds?

He's campaigning. This is no patriarch, he is a politician. The power of a patriarch comes from spirituality and closeness to God. The power of a politician comes from the cheers of the adoring crowds. From where does Rai find his power?

as you surely know the Church is formed of individual believers forming a group led by the Patriarch. the man is taking care of his children and thus doing the work of God

Well this is standard, the money for travel comes from the church which is given by both poor christians and rich christians.

The church sends its people on planes every day around the world for general coordination of the church, there is nothing wrong here...

I note that there are alot of guests on here ... (i presume from the Syrian national council - muslim brotherhood as backed by the CIA)

Now let me see all the registered Syrian council muslim brotherhood idiots thumbs down this comment - it will proove me right :)
