Qaouq Rejects Feltman’s Interference in 2013 Elections
إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربيةDeputy Head of Hizbullah's Executive Council Sheikh Nabil Qaouq slammed on Saturday U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Jeffrey Feltman for interfering in the elections, considering it as a “violation of sovereignty and dignity.”
“His discussions that focused on the elections confirm that he is the actual leader of the March 14 forces in Lebanon,” Qaouq said.
He accused Feltman of seeking to inflame sedition in Lebanon.
The U.S. official arrived in Lebanon on Tuesday. His talks with senior Lebanese officials focused on the need for Lebanon to respect constitutional deadlines with regard to the 2013 parliamentary elections.
Concerning the weapons shipment that was intercepted by the Lebanese navy in its territorial water, Qaouq said that the arms vessel Lutfallah II was funded by the Arab countries oil money.
The Lebanese army intercepted last month the arms vessel Lutfallah II that contained three containers of arms off the northern coast and towed it to the port of Selaata and then to the navy base in Beirut.
The eleven-member crew – eight Syrians, two Egyptians and an Indian - and the ship’s agent were arrested.
Investigations revealed that no Lebanese national was involved in the case.
The Hizbullah official lashed out at the March 14 forces for involving Lebanon is the Syrian crisis by supporting the arming of the Syrian opposition.
“They still don’t realize the repercussions of turning Lebanon into a country of incitement against the neighboring country,” Qaouq stated.
On the wall that the Israeli military began building along the Lebanese border, he said: “Building walls and military exercises will not save them from their fate.”
Israel's military announced the project in January, saying it would protect recently-constructed apartment blocks in Metulla from sniper fire coming from the Lebanese border town of Kfar Kila.
Israel and Lebanon are technically at war but military officers from the two sides meet regularly under the auspices of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) to coordinate security along their joint border.
Israel fought a devastating war against Hizbullah movement in 2006, which cost the lives of 1,200 people in Lebanon, mainly civilians, and 160 Israelis, mostly soldiers.
“They still don’t realize the repercussions of turning Lebanon into a country of incitement against the neighboring country,” Qaouq stated. Funny! I thought that was the Filthy Iranian regime's objective all along by brainwashing, arming, training, and financing a criminal lawless terrorist street gang of Neanderthal drug dealers and murderers like Hezb Ebola to wreak havoc in Lebanon, and turn it into a Banana Fuckihi republic ruled from Qom through the local dead rat hiding Turbanator residing deep down in the sewers.
The best way to deal with Hezb Ebola and its filth is to deal a very heavy and deadly military blow to the Supreme Criminal's regime in Tehran and Qom, and support the millions of Free Iranians abroad in freeing their country of that 7th century rule of that dead ender terrorist regime, before it's too late for their Children and the freedom loving educated people of that country and the Middle East, and ultimately the world.
He's kidding, right? Warning against the dangers of M14 meddling in the Syrian crisis from his Hezbollah party platform because of allegations that its regional allies may have been involved in the shipment of small arms to the FSA.
Hezbollah, it is confirmed by Stratfor Wikileaks has 3000 fighters in Syria who perch on rooftops as snipers killing Syrian demonstrators or killing Syrian soldiers who refuse to shoot and kill their fellow countrymen.
Whose pictures and flags are being burned by Syrians -- Nasrallah and Hezbollah, and that is not because of their disengagement and noninvolvment, but for the very opposite reason. Kouk here has exposed Lebanon and Lebanese to possible spill over of this war and retribution by the succeeding regime by not the alleged involvement possibly of Hezbollah, but of the verified fact of Hezbollah involvment in the Syrian civil war.
Hypocrit.
feltman's interference is limiting farsi interference.. what i am really afraid of:the loss of the syrian regime+hizballah would not result in a loss of a whole sect in lebanon, the role of berri now is crucial for the whole shia community, and i say that with full responsability.
We reject Iran arming your militia. We reject your assassinations of Patriotic politicians. We reject your bombing of liquor stores and other places of entertainment. We reject your hegemony over our way of life. We reject your collaboration with the Syrian occupation and continued cooperation with the Syrian regime. We reject your taking over the the South and forming a state within a state.... there is a lot more but will stop here (we reject you).
such comments are not surprising from those same group of people who are doing everything to control this country :)
they are afraid of any support to m14 because it will not allow them to achieve their ultimate goal of control:)
yes we are allied with the US and Europe against the axis of evil represented in lebanon by hizbushaitan/fpm and their syro/iranian backers.
lebanon is ours and we will not let them take it over.
How about the Iranian minister that arrived a day later to meet the Lebanese officials? Your house is in glass so do not throw rocks at others ya Qouq.
(Building walls and military exercises will not save them from there fate )the same brovado we have been hearing for the last sixty years, first Naser , then Sadam ,Arafat ,Assad,Ext..and the palistinein cause no further ahead than its been. Now we have this gentelman shooting his mouth off with statments like that ,and his followers lappin it all up , like past generations has done .
I always observed them they are all manicured and well groomed they are having good time behind the seen , the resistance is a lucrative business so for those who dream that one day they will hand there arms keep dreaming unless a change happens in Syria
