Unknown assailants kidnapped on Wednesday Dr. Mona Kanj from her house in the Chouf village of Meshref, media reports said.
According to Voice of Lebanon radio (100.5), three gunmen broke into the house of Ali Sharafeddine, Kanj's husband, and forced him along with his wife and their building janitor to head to the town of Bchamoun.
The radio station said that when the abductors reached the area, they fled using another car and took Kanj with them to an unknown location, leaving behind her husband and the janitor.
The report said that the kidnappers demanded Kanj's husband to pay a ransom in exchange for her release.

I was under the impression that taking care of crime was the government's job. Moreover if you are implying that m14 opposition is in any way preventing the government from taking care of crime then you are deeply mistaken.
However, i do recall that when m8 was the opposition the hindered the economic progress and the political stability of the country.

it is too early yet to know who did this, thus no comment is best.

@Mowaten
You always accuse people of not having evidence to back their claims. I would like to know where you got information that m14 have training camps for syrian rebels here. Furthermore, I would like to remind you that m14 does not command the salafists and they have clearly condemned their actions.
And again i would like to remind you that it's not m14's job to protect the streets; its not like m14 leaders are protecting the salafists from being prosecuted. The opposite however is true; M8 and specifically hizballah has been protecting clans in Bekaa for a very long time. I would also like to note that boycotting the dialogue is a diplomatic and civil way of opposing the current government. The same cannot be said of Hezballah ( 7 2ayyar & Downtown occupation).
