Geagea Says Hizbullah Exposed its True Nature, Part of Regional Scheme

إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربية W460

Lebanese Forces leader Samir Geagea slammed Hizbullah's involvement in the war raging in the neighboring country Syria, saying that the party exposed itself by proving that it doesn't care about the national interest.

“Hizbullah revealed that it's not a Lebanese party but a regional power that is taking party in a big scheme... The party doesn't take into consideration the nation's best interest,” Geagea told reporters in Meraab.

He pointed out that Hizbullah is a Lebanese party “in theory,” but in reality “it's an armed party that has experience and is connected to sizable strategies in the region.”

Geagea noted that Hizbullah's practices affect Lebanon, expecting that the party will pass through difficulties in the future due to its engagement in “adventures in Syria.”

He described the party as “Iranian.”

Hizbullah fighters spearheaded a devastating 17-day assault on the Syrian town of Qusayr near the Lebanese border which culminated last week with its recapture from the rebels.

The Christian leader said the Hizbullah and the Syrian regime are justifying their acts in the neighboring country by “saying they are waging a war on Takfiris and al-Nusra” rebel front.

Geagea said that Lebanon entered a “dangerous stage” due to Hizullah's endeavors, adding that the division in the country is on a national level and not a sectarian one.

Although Lebanon has officially adopted a position of neutrality in Syria's war, its people are sharply divided with Hizbullah and its allies backing President Bashar Assad's regime and the March 14 coalition supports the rebellion.

Syria's civil war has exacerbated sectarian tensions in Lebanon and its security situation has deteriorated due to various groups intervention in battles in the neighboring country.

Analysts recently warned that the foray into Syria's civil war by Hizbullah has fueled a Sunni-Shiite polarization that threatens to feed extremism on both sides and export the conflict to the wider region.

meanwhile you could go on youtube to see the movie showing hizbushaitan operatives dead in Damascus neighborhood at the end of last week....
ft, before asking others to go blow themselves up ask your fellows to stop killing babies and get killed for this Syrian regime.

Thumb general_puppet 12 June 2013, 08:39

He described the party as “Iranian.”... well that is not really news, the Puppet General use to described the party as “terrorist" until he sold out to Assad and Nasrallah.

“Hizbullah revealed that it's not a Lebanese party but a regional power that is taking party in a big scheme... The party doesn't take into consideration the nation's best interest,”.. Geagea is calling it like it is.

Thumb lebnanfirst 12 June 2013, 08:48

Indeed, Geageag has been calling it like it is for some years now. Some men learn from the past as Geagea did, some don't like Aoun.

Thumb general_puppet 12 June 2013, 09:19

Geagea is man who stayed and took his punishment, Aoun is a coward who ran and abandoned his men then came back and shoveled dirt over them.

Thumb geha 12 June 2013, 09:06

hizbushaitan is the re creation of the hassasine of the current times.
the hassassine was a Shiite group specialized in assassinations, living on drugs,.... you can look it up on Wikipedia.
this Iranian entity is a disaster t Lebanon, and the sooner all Lebanese realize that, the better it will be.
they need to be eradicated from Lebanon, and we need to prepare to counter their invasion to our country.
extremism of any sort has no place here.

Saudi Arabia's loudest-barking employee is actually accusing others of being part of a regional scheme?

Only in Lebanon.

Default-user-icon Dog (Guest) 12 June 2013, 13:41

Look in the mirror ...

You cannot accuse Geagea of being Saudi's employee without saying the same about Nassrallah and Aoun being Iran's employees.

At least Nassrallah and Aoun's salaries are paid by Iran... It's a known fact.

And believe me, Iran is not any better than Saudi Arabia when it comes to politics, repression and terrorism.

The iranian people however are worth more than the saudi people but what do you know about them ... they are oppressed, musled, silenced, beaten, killed in exactly the same way Hezbollah is shutting all the lebanese up by killing them in plain site !

Thumb general_puppet 12 June 2013, 09:27

I have never heard Geagea say he will go to war to defend Saudi Arabia, But I have heard a number of Iranian employee's who have said they would go to war to defend Iran... you know the self proclaimed "Party of God" that is now fighting Assad's war in Syria, under divine orders from the ayatollah.

Thumb mckinl 12 June 2013, 10:23

What Geagea says matters less and less ... He keeps repeating the same tired slogans and KSA propaganda over and over again and again ...

What matters is keeping Lebanon stable ... Tripoli and the north need to be secured so that violence is rare and punishment is hard and swift.

is it because we are Lebanese?
is it because we refuse the Iranian invasion of our country?
you are pathetic, and if someone has to be deported it is most certainly the hords of basij and hizbushaitan and their allies as they are not Lebanese.
Lebanon for Lebanese.

“Hizbullah revealed that it's not a Lebanese party but a regional power that is taking party in a big scheme... The party doesn't take into consideration the nation's best interest."
Most will agree with this quote, but the Hezbollah supporters and their leader, Hassan Nasrallah, will argue that they are taking into consideration the nation's best interest from stopping the "takfiris" winning in Syria and coming into Lebanon. They say they are stopping the war from reaching Lebanon. To be honest, Geagea's comment is what I've been saying for years, but I still detest the guy. Criminal and murderer. Didn't deserve amnesty, and it's a shame he has a say in Lebanese politics.
Thank you and peace Lebanon.

FlameThrower sometimes talk about being "democratic" and "aoun being democratically elected" and here he calls to "crush and oust" the opposition.

This means no democracy, just plain dictatorship and tyranny. You are so full of shit ya FT you should take a step back and really think about what your beliefs are!
