Report: Hizbullah Calls on Hariri to Return to Lebanon

إقرأ هذا الخبر بالعربية W460

Hizbullah had urged former Prime Minister Saad Hariri to return to Lebanon through diplomatic channels, al-Joumhouria newspaper reported on Tuesday.

According to the newspaper Hariri had received several calls to return to the country, not only from Speaker Nabih Berri, but from Hizbullah also.

However, the daily said that the Sunni leader is holding on to his decision to remain outside Lebanon over security fears.

The report pointed out that Hariri considers that the assassinations attempts in Lebanon hasn't reached an end yet.

Last week, local newspapers quoted Berri saying: “Hariri must return to Lebanon to facilitate the resumption of the dialogue so that we cooperate to face the current challenges.”

“I think Hariri can stay at the Center House if he has security fears,” the speaker said.

Report: Hizbullah will facilitate the return of cheikh Saad al-Haribi Telteyn al-Marajil to Lebanon by asking the rapidly falling "ASSad" regime (any doubts? just ask NostraGabbyMarch14 about how many times the regime has fallen already and shall continue to fall, or Dr. Arreet 7akeh, the Grand Doc of all Nostras) to allow his plane to land briefly in Damascus, just as cheikh al-Haribi, the belated warrior and wonder kid had promised the droves of his under-age (brain wise, of course) followers, Drs. Arteena Sanni, he would. Hasta la vista, cheikh al-Haribi, and Ramadan karim. takbir

I think he should stay where he is!
It should be illegal (as it is in all other countries) and a Lebanese citizen with dual nationality to hold ANY government position.
Loyalty can be easily compromised as in the case of a prominent Lebanese businessman/minister who has most of his assets in a Gulf country; and who was threatened to change his stance on certain internal disputes.
Also, any Government employee above a certain grade should not have more that 5% of his assets in one foreign country.
These are no-brainers... but not in Lebanon!

Thumb geha 30 July 2013, 11:32

then, most of fpm should be banned from government, as well as berry who has the US nationality, several of his amal movement, and hizbushaitan as a whole, as they advised they follow wilayat al fakih.

Thumb natasha 30 July 2013, 19:27

i agree with you, why no one mentions how he is not allowed to go back to switzerland , because he has rape charges against him . i dont like any political party in lebanon, as i always said they all work for their intrests not for Lebanon. and this spoiled bratt got to where he is because of his daddy and saudi arabia, could someone tell me what this guy accomplished. and just incase there are ppl who think i am attacking him because of his religion , it has nothing to do with religion.
peace

well said

Missing youngheart 30 July 2013, 12:54

Harriri has tested the Luke warm waters with his good friend Assir .
I would not think he shall return to Beirut International Airport , let alone step a foot inside Lebanon itself .
He is Not & never shall be a BACHIR ! He has no charisma , no charm , no good looks , even he can't put a word or two into a sentence ! I think he is too worried about the amount of wax on his hair & the length of his Saudi beard including his manicure as well as his pedicure .
In short he is a scared crow ! Going straw broke .
He won't last too long when Baheyee goes I think he won't survive crossing the street .
Anyway he is having too much fun in Saudi Arabia ..he is after all their half son .

Thumb cedre 30 July 2013, 13:18

that's good, we're not looking for a new bashir but for a new rafik...

Missing youngheart 30 July 2013, 13:41

Please don't take it the wrong way CEDRE, Rafik has never ever come close to even a reflection of BACHIR, having said that Saad is nowhere as close to Rafik, now work that out !

Thumb cedre 31 July 2013, 17:27

the quality rafik had and very few have is that he put lebanese people before people of his own sect. Thats about 1% of lebanese population. Bachir wanted to turn lebanon to a christian-dominated, pro-western, non-arab country... I can understand some christian want it that way but thats not the majority of lebanese...

Missing youngheart 30 July 2013, 13:59

Totally agree Phoenix
Not only you & I can clearly see that but all Lebanese do know what Saad is only good at , and that is ................................. Well enough said .

Thumb natasha 30 July 2013, 19:43

i agree with both of you guy , @youngheart and @ the1 pheonix.
and for those who dont agree, just remember that hariri senior and junior , used money to get influence and power in lebanon, but Bashir ,Gibran, and dany chamoun had charisma and they actually fought for their country , what did Saad do for Lebanon?

Default-user-icon Tchaddd (Guest) 30 July 2013, 13:59

They asked Gibran Tueni to come back and they assasinated him, they asked Samir Kassir to come back and they killed, they asked Wissam Hassan to come back and they killed him and so on.......... And now they ask Hariri to come back because they didnt get enough of killing his father.....

Missing youngheart 30 July 2013, 14:37

Tchaddd
That's your opinion. You are within your rights to express it but I totally DISAGREE !

Missing helicopter 31 July 2013, 05:36

Guys, we are taking the discussion way off track here.
Let us not compare if Saad is the right man or not. Or if he has the Charisma or not. He and Gibran Tueini and Piere Gemayel all shared the philosophy of "Lubnan Awalan" and this cost Gibran and Piere (and the many others their life) and the suspects are the pro-Iran and pro-Syria forces in Lebanon.
So love him or hate, he was more pro-Lebanon than eithe Nsrallah or Berri or other M8 leaders (Franjieh, Arsalan, Wahhab).
We all should be revolting against the killers who are the same people behind the reason why Saad is outside Lebanon.

there are no false witnesses since there have been no witnesses testifying in a courtroom. Those testimonies have not been taken into account. Get over it, and shove it into your thick empty skull!

hizballa wants to assassinate Hariri the son, 8 years after wat they did to the father.

Missing zahle_night1 30 July 2013, 16:51

the1phoenix and youngheart, I could not agree more with you in your assessment about BACHIR and HARIRI...
At the end they both paid the ultimate price for the sovereignty of Lebanon... I wish we have more politicians like them these days.

Thumb Maxx 31 July 2013, 00:51

Umm... "More politicians like them"; you mean dead? The best politicians there are, for sure.

Thumb arzak-ya-libnan 30 July 2013, 17:29

the1.. while you are 100% right that saad is not the man for the job.. but when you say he had no guts to refuse HA pressure, while in fact true, didnt he have the best interest of the country at heart? was that not extending a hand to the other end? he could have easily brought in the president he/m14 wants.. but he accepted the compromise of Slaiman in an effort to save Lebanon from the repercussions of what HA would do had they chose that path. they could have legally voted in a govt of their choice, but again refused, to avoid confrontation with HA which automatically mean they would pull their guns out and start shooting. constitutional law means nothing to them. they have the guns, and they make everyone obey or suffer the consequences.

Thumb Maxx 31 July 2013, 00:49

Dear Saad, as we have been listed as a terrorist organization in Europe, it would be rather complicated for us to murder you abroad. So would you please, pretty please, with a cherry on top, come back to Lebanon so that we could assassinate you properly without breaking a sweat and get away with it just like we killed your dad? Thanks. Signed - Wolf. I mean, Hizb.

Thumb zahle1 31 July 2013, 03:23

I agree they want him to come back so they can kill him too. I have cannot confirm or deny a false witness. We do know that an assassination like this could not have happened without HA approval, no doubt.

Missing helicopter 31 July 2013, 05:01

False witness or Solid witness, it makes no difference to the outlaw party (they never turn in anyone, because otherwise they have to turn in half of their fighters).

Youngheart you are really missing the reality as you have a lot of emotions against Israel which I understand. Israel is an impressive country, its GDP per habitant is nearly twice as higher as that of Saoudi Arabia. It tops countries in technology, research, universities. It is the only democratic country in the region where the president go to jail for sexual harassment.
What Israeli does not have is peace with their neighbors. The Palestinians could have had peace and a country had they accepted UN resolution in 1948 and after in 1967. Unfortunately regimes such as that of Syria, Irak, Egypt and Libya highjacked the Palestinian cause and used it for their survival. Today The Iranian/Syrian/HA are doing the same with the Palestinian cause.

Missing youngheart 31 July 2013, 05:57

Who is offended ? These are all true facts quoted from the the book of Moses & the old Scriptures !
These is no need to report or Delete my comments !
This is FREEDOM OF SPEECH at its best !
We shall wait & see !

Greatpierro
No one hijacked the previous peace talks especially during Ehud Barack . But answer this for with full honesty , but as long as you do not lie or twist the truth like Phillipo, yes I agree that Ehud Barack wanted a genuine peace deal with the Palestinians, but was is not offered at 25 % less in land size compared to the pre-1967 border agreement ? That no 1.
Now no 2 ;
What about the illegally built settlements were they not suppose to stop?
No3; what about the existing settlers were they supposed to be removed ?
No 4; what about the question of the Palestinian refugees from Lebanon & other Arab lands were they on they part of the peace talks ?
Well to all of the above except for no 1 the answers are No ! Israel hijacked the peace talks not Arafat! Please reply with full honesty so that maybe there will be a genuine peace agreement not only with the Palestinians but also with Lebanon !
