the patriot : give us a name if you know him, else don't expect any "explanations" on your hollow slander
regarding electricity bills, the fact is that many people in many regions do not pay them, it is not limited to one side
regarding the current situation of our finances, and our electrical network, you can blame those who got in power a month ago, but the real problem lies in what has been done since the end of the war, by syrian collaborator of hariri, plus the israelis kindly bombing our plants every 3 years since the 90s.
ps: the patriot > can you ask your "frriend in the US" where the missing 11 billions in the last 5 years public finance are? we need them back
fighting corruption is the only way out, whether in the public sector, or in the "semi-private" one. sukleen, owned by hariri, has been billing the lebanese government, owned by hariri, 10 times the normal price for trash collection, and they didnt even process them properly, enjoy the seaside moutains of trash
thepatriot, do you realize that even if not in a trial, slander is a misdemeanor at the very least? +vague accusations that are not verifiable are worthless
besides that, yes syrians pumped out a lot of money from lebanon, and that's why i agreed with aoun that they should be driven out of lebanon.
now this was done, and better keep this matter closed because i do not want an open conflict with syria that would mean no land borders to trade or do any business with the rest of the region.
now our priority is to audit the accounts, because syria could never have ruled alone in lebanon and everybody knows who the local partners were. the hypocrisy of those local partners who turned against syria when the tide changed, who bled us dry at least as much as the syrians AND ACTUALLY MADE IT POSSIBLE, besides the fact that THEY WERE THE ONES TO INVITE THEM INITIALLY for their own selfish interests.. those disgust me, and those we can put to trial and get the billions back
+ dont associate me with jumblat, for me the guy follows the wind and i neither admire or respect him.
once he used m8 votes to get his MPs and betrayed to get on m14's side, and you guys enjoyed having him, now he switched again so face it, that's the risk u take with such people, and in the same time we can't deny that he is one of the players in lebanon that you have to deal with...
and yes, become saadoun's personal security advisor, wouldnt make a big difference from what you have been doing until now, but at least you'd be on hariri's payroll, not the state's
slash:
"@bigdig: can you deny what Real said and prove the opposite ?"
lol you're totally spot on in demonstrating the functioning of the STL. Someone goes and throws random accusations, and then we have to "prove" they are not true. Guilty until proven innocent. This is why this tribunal, that all Lebanese initially wanted, ended up being a big joke that nobody will take seriously. Big wasted opportunity.
