no surprise here but what i cant wrap my head around is that at the time of the crash they said the wife of France's ambassador was on the plane. How can France stay silent? How can they accept that the wife of a french diplomat be "expended" to get to Hamas or Hezbollah operatives?

Correct thepatriot, your attention to detail honors you. since this is the only point you raised i assume you agree with the rest?
just noting as well, that if jews are 25000 in Iran, out of 75 million total population, it means they represent 0.03% of the population, yet they are guaranteed a seat. i think we can agree this goes with saying they are respected.
plus i quote wikipedia:

so to get back to what i was initially saying, i'm against intolerant fundamentalists, and this is not in contradiction with considering Iran a friendly state, because they are not intolerant, they dont cut heads of people who drink or think differently and dont burn "witches" on sticks...
