no, despite your wet dreams i'm lebanese but tired of your "hang this one or that one" and "bomb that one or this one". you're just a hateful being, thirsty for violence and executions. who the heck are you to say who must or must not be hanged?
yella bye, enough tlaking to you for one day ma elle jledtak.

and nobody is shocked that a tribunal can amend, without controls whatsoever, its own rules of procedure. it's like a tribunal where the judge who would also be members of parliament and make the laws they apply to themselves... joke of a tribunal
i'm more worried about the real perpetrators laughing behind the curtains. this tribunal is a zoo, the investigation a buffoonery, and the trial will be a circus
whynotgototrial: I'm not comparing east and west in terms of judicial procedures. I'm comparing the STL to any judicial system in the world, and it allows some quite unique features:
-Invisible anonymous witnesses
-Invisible proof that are shown to the judges but not to the defense, they only get "summarized points"
-The right for the prosecutor to not disclose any proof of the innocence of the accused, or any material that may jeopardize the security of a "friendly state"
-The right for the judges to amend and modify the rules that are applied to themselves. Another article today illustrates it http://www.naharnet.com/stories/en/30710-stl-amends-some-of-its-rules-of-procedure-and-evidence
And there is more. First time I heard that I couldn't believe it, so I took hours going through the rules and procedures of the STL, as available on their official website.
This court is tailor-built to accuse & convict anyone of their choosing, this is simply unacceptable.
IF he believes it is illegal his conscience tells him better resign than endorse it, then he would be setting a prime example for all other politicians in Lebanon.
It's too easy to spend decades under Syria occupations, in Syria controlled government, fill their pockets like mad and sign everything as instructed, and later say "we didnt have the choice, Syria forced our hand". If you see what I mean.
