جريج يؤكد تضامنه مع الحريات الاعلامية: واثق من براءة خياط والامين

أعلن وزير الاعلام رمزي جريج أنه "واثق" في براءة صحافيي صحيفة "الاخبار" وقناة "الجديد"، المتهمين بـ"تحقير" المحكمة كرمى خياط وابراهيم الأمين، داعياً في الوقت عينه الى "احترام آلية عمل المحكمة الدولية والمثول أمامها، لإثبات هذه البراءة".
وفي حديث الى صحيفة "السفير"، الاثنين، شدد جريج على انه يقف الى جانب الحريات الإعلامية، ودعا الصحافيين الاثنين الى المثول أمام لإثبات براءتهما "لأن المحكمة هي كائن شرعي، وقراراتها ملزمة للبنان، ولو انها وُلدت في السياسة".
وأضاف انه "من حق الاعلام انتقاد المحكمة متى وجد أن هناك ما يستوجب ذلك"، لافتاً الى أنه شاهد التقارير التي بثّتها "الجديد"، معتبراً أنها تضمنت انتقادات مسؤولة ومشروعة.
من هنا، قال جريج "أنا متأكد من أن التحقيق مع "الجديد" و"الأخبار" سينتهي الى براءتهما، والمهم أن يحسنا الدفاع عنها عبر سلوك الطرق القانونية الملحوظة وفق آلية عمل المحكمة".
وأشار الى أن "عدم المثول أمامها قد يرتّب تبعات نحن بغنى عنها، من قبيل صدور مذكرات توقيف، وأنا أقدم هذه النصيحة لمصلحة الزميلين والمؤسستين، لأنني أرفض الغوغائية والبطولات الوهمية في مثل هذه المناسبات".
ونُظّم لقاء تضامني عند الثانية عشرة ظهر الاثنين في نقابة الصحافة، "دفاعاً عن الحقيقة المجرّدة، وتضامناً مع فكرة الحرية".
وقد شارك في اللقاء صحافيين من مختلف وسائل الاعلام، الى جانب عدد من النواب المتضامنين.
يُذكر ان المحكمة الدولية استدعت كل من خياط وهي نائبة مديرة الأخبار والبرامج السياسية في قناة "الجديد" والأمين وهو رئيس مجلس إدارة صحيفة "الأخبار للإستماع إليهما بتهمة "التحقير وعرقلة سير العدالة" في 13 أيار المقبل، وذلك بعد نشر أسماء شهود مفترضين قبل أن يدلوا بشهاداتهم أمام الإدعاء والدفاع في لاهاي في قضية اغتيال رئيس الوزراء الأسبق رفيق الحريري ورفاقه.
ويوم الجمعة الفائت، نظم إعلاميات الجمعة تحركا احتجاجيا قرب وزارة الإعلام ردا على اتهام الصحافيين، في حين أكد المتهمين أنهما لن يتراجعا عن نشر "ما يجب" أن ينشر داعين وزير الإعلام إلى الإستقالة والدولة إلى عدم السماح بـ"استباحتها".

Sorry, but this money grabbing STL was not established at Lebanon's request... it was Established under Chapter 7 by the Security Council and I bet if there was a referendum on it, 70% of the Lebanese will vote against it.... what I also find strange is the fact no such Court was Established for Kennedy, or Bhutto amongst others which only fuels the sentiment that this is a political circus and nothing more.

The indictment of those guys who Hassouna is failing to hand over? That is nothing right? They did not make those phone calls? That is not why Wissam Eid was murdered right?
"The STL aim was political and to spread discords (sic)". That is again one of your lovely opinions.
I prefer the facts, from the website of the STL.
"Its primary mandate is to hold trials for the people accused of carrying out the attack of 14 February 2005 which killed 22 people, including the former prime minister of Lebanon, Rafiq Hariri, and injured many others."
You are allowed to have your own views, regardless of how wrong and messed up they are.

Forgive me for feeling passionate about people abjectly refusing to introduce facts into their reasoning.
