ميقاتي: لتوجيه رسالة عاجلة لخارجية سوريا حول تداعيات الخروقات الحدودية

طلب رئيس الحكومة نجيب ميقاتي من سفير لبنان في سوريا ميشال خوري توجيه رسالة عاجلة الى وزارة الخارجية السورية حول تداعيات الخروقات الحدودية.
وخلال استقباله خوري في السراي الحكومي، اليوم الاثنين، طالب ميقاتي يتوجيه رسالة الى خارجية سوريا لابلاغها باستمرار تعرض بلدات لبنانية قريبة من الحدود اللبنانية - السورية لقصف من المواقع العسكرية السورية المتاخمة.
اضافة الى التداعيات السلبية التي يمكن ان تحدثها تلك الخروق على الاجراءات الامنية التي اتخذها الجيش اللبناني للمحافظة على الاستقرار والهدوء على الحدود بين البلدين تنفيذا لقرار السلطة السياسية الحريصة على حماية اللبنانيين المقيمين قرب الحدود اللبنانية - السورية وتجنيبهم اي خسائر في الارواح والممتلكات.
وتعرضت في الآونة الاخيرة البلدات الحدودية شمالاً وبقاعاً لقصف من الجانب السوري ادى الى سقوط عدد من القتلى والجرحى، اضافة الى الاضرار المادية في المنازل والممتلكات.
وبدأ الجيش مطلع تموز بتعزيز وجوده في المنطقة الحدودية مع سوريا، بعد ان كان مجلس الوزراء قد أكد "ضرورة تعزيز الجيش على الحدود اللبنانية السورية واتخاذ الاجراءات والتدابير كافة لضبط هذه الحدود والمعابر المختلفة".

That's not how it works Mr. Miqati. Your foreign minister should summon the Syrian Ambassador and give me a letter of reprimand requesting that the shelling stops. If not, Lebanon should launch a complaint with the UN and have UN resolution 1701 apply to the the rest of the borders.

We have two neighbors that are mutually enemies. One destroyed the south & infrastructure from the air, and the other had been shelling/assassinating and arming Jabal Mohsen Alaweet in Tripoli to keep the country unstable.

It is about time that the Lebanese people realise that the only enemy in the south of the country is Hizballah, which has taken control of whole areas of the south of the country and run it as if it was their own private territory. The country to the south, Israel, is not an enemy of Lebanon and the peace-loving Lebanese people, but only of Hizballah.

Shame on Miqati and the Suleiman and the Army for not taking a MUCH MUCH MUCH stronger stance. TFEH 3a hel balad bala sharaf, lets just scratch the lebanese national anthem and sings the syrian and iranian one while we are at it.

That's very courageous from the PM: To ask Lebanon's Ambassador to convey a claim to Syria's Foreign Minister:
Firstly: The PM should address himself to the Syrian Ambassador in Lebanon to lodge a claim
Secondly: I do not think that our Ambassoador would dare transmitting such a message to the Syrians
This government is becoming a joke!
