Report: Iran's Quds Force chief visits Lebanon

Brigadier General Esmail Qaani, the head of the elite Quds Force of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, arrived in Beirut on Tuesday on a visit that is not his first since the eruption of the Gaza war, Lebanon’s Nidaa al-Watan newspaper reported on Wednesday.
The visit comes a few days ahead of a key speech by Hezbollah chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.
Qaani’s presence in Lebanon also coincides with the arrival in the country of U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs Barbara Leaf and French Minister of the Armed Forces Sébastien Lecornu.

I'm pretty certain that he is not in Lebanon in order to instruct Hizballah to leave their positions on the border with Israel and retire behind the Litani River in accordance with Resolution 1701.
It is more certain that he is there to order them to increase their attacks across the border. He couldn't care less just how many Hizballah terrorists are killed, certainly couldn't care if Lebanese civilians are killed.
