3 Wounded in Car Accident Involving Miqati’s Motorcade

Three people were wounded on Thursday in a car accident involving Prime Minister Najib Miqati’s motorcade.
The accident took place on the Mestita road in Jbeil as the convoy was headed towards northern Lebanon.
Three military officials were lightly injured in the incident and were taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The National News Agency said that the premier and Minister Ahmed Karami, who was accompanying him, have made it safely to Tripoli.
Miqati's press office soon issued a statement saying that the "prime minister and his companions are well and he is continuing his meetings in Tripoli."

This was no accident. He was probably targeted by one of the many terrorists who call Lebanon home.

I don't think this was an attempt or a target; I would blame all the convoys of all politicians in Lebanon (with NO exception!).
In my opinion this is related to the way their drivers and bodyguards drive and treat people around! What right do they have to push people around and turn on their stupid car alerts? As if they were doing something important... We all know that this cabinet (and ALL the previous ones) is merely agreeing and moving forward, we all know that the war has been over for 22 years and STILL we do not have 24/7 Electricity..
At the end of the day, WE (as hard working Lebanese people) pay their salaries... they are PUBILC SERVANTS supposedly serving each and everyone of us.. not more, not less!
It is a shame though that some people still vote for the same persons based on ethnic backgrounds and religion..

Targeted??? This arrogant man's motorcade was probably trying to push "normal people" out of the way by driving recklessly, as the "mighty" politicians in lebanon usually do! I wonder whether He is going to pay for the damage he's done, mighty miqati...
