Netanyahu Links Iran and Hizbullah to Syria Massacres

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu linked on Sunday the massacres in Syria to Iran and Hizbullah, accusing them of providing Syrian President Bashar Assad with assistance.

"It's not just the Syrian government. It is being aided by Iran and Hizbullah," Netanyahu said at the start of a cabinet session about the massacre of hundreds of civilians in several towns in Syria.

The world must recognize the axis of evil confronting the region: Iran, Syria and Hizbullah, he said.

"This axis is rearing its ugly head," Netanyahu told the cabinet, "and the world must understand that this is the region we live in."

Also on Sunday, a senior Israeli minister accused Assad of committing genocide in his crackdown on a 15-month uprising.

Vice Prime Minister Shaul Mofaz also criticized Russia for arming Damascus and repeated Israel's demand for international military intervention to topple Assad, akin to last year's campaign in Libya.

Syria didn't wait for The so called Kuwaitis and others to comme to the ressue or freedom fighters, struggling on unequal terms with , by far, the most savage, repressive, regime in the region, holding it's grip on power for five decades! The Iranians have been there, since the fall of the Berlin wall when Assad visited Iran in the early 90's, and steppes out of arab solidarité with Irak. This explains that and not the other way round. No one can be blamed to defend themselves against an unmovable, autocratic, Nazi regime, practising a policy of ' killing fields' !

it will be more and more difficult for russia to provide arms to the syrian regime...assad is a heavy burden for putin to carry on,expect a concensus between america and russia concerning the fate of the assad family.

THis terrorist can keep his comments to himself. He's the Israeli equivalent of the Lebanese Hezbollah with the difference that he doesn't kill his own people.

I'm glad Netanyahu took the time out of his day of killing Palestinian children to make such a statement!

Netanyahu links the massacres in Syria to Iran and Hezbollah? And I link Iran and Hezbollah and the Assad Regime to Israel. They are all the same, they all play from the same playbook and they are all in bed with each other in a marriage of convenience against their common perceived enemy, the Arab Sunni.

Well. My comment did not have much to do with the quality of the newspaper as much as it was meant questioning why Lebanese media keep turning the spotlights on the israelis monthly nonsense comments about Lebanon.

The truth is Bibi, Hezb, Iranian regime and the Syrian regime are all mass murderers. Now are you happy? May they all vanish from the face of the earth so Lebanon can rise again.
