Mediator Qatar said on Tuesday that no high-level meetings or direct talks between the United States and Iran were planned in Doha after Washington said it had sent a top delegation for negotiations.
"To the best of my knowledge, there are no direct meetings scheduled between the two parties in the coming days," foreign ministry spokesman Majed Al Ansari told reporters in Doha, adding that the American team would meet with mediators. The UAE has said its nationals can travel to Lebanon, effective on Monday, lifting a weeks-long ban in place because of the Middle East war and concerns about Iran's influence.
The foreign ministry announced "it will allow UAE citizens to travel to the sisterly Lebanese Republic, starting from Monday, June 29, 2026," the official WAM news agency reported.

Parliament Speaker and Hezbollah ally Nabih Berri said early Monday that the trilateral framework agreement between Lebanon, Israel and the United States would not pass as it did not guarantee Lebanon's rights.
"This agreement will not pass, and it will not be implemented in its current form," Berri said in a statement shared by his party the Amal movement, adding that it was "an agreement of 'dictates', not an agreement that preserves Lebanon's rights".
