with this sort of reasoning you can make the entire world your enemy. saudi is friends of the US who is friends of israel, so saudi is our enemy as well? france is friends with israel, so france should be our enemy as well? i dont believe so. they both had negative roles in lebanon, but i wouldnt go as far as to call them my enemies. my enemy as lebanese is clear: israel. they are the ones who would not stop at genocide to accomplish their dreams of a religiously "pure" eretz israel, and they have long term vision, which we "arabs" often lack. they havent bombed us in 6 years, people already think the war with israel is "history"...
we need iran's backing and weapons, because nobody else will help us against israel, and if we're unarmed we're doomed.

"latest excuse" ?? no i've been saying this forever and it is no "excuse". the israeli threat is REAL and we've felt it in our flesh in the past. for me they are the ones responsible for the civil war in lebanon, through manipulation and deception of various parties. starting with the fact that none of what happened would have happened if palestinians hadent been expelled to lebanon.
and now they want to expell more.. more and more israeli voices are talking of kicking israeli arabs out, and taking over the west bank. where do you think they are going to send them?
they are also heading straight into water shortage, their usage of water is growing fast, while their sources are not (actually water sources are decreasing due to over-exploitation) where do you think they are looking for source of water?
they're keeping a low profile since 2006 because they prefer us to kill each other, and then come dominate, and we're heading straight into that

In a collaboration configuration, HA weapons can serve to protect all lebanese, it's a win-win situation. Rafic knew this, and this is why he supported HA.
Remember that HA weapons were NEVER used against the interior, except one time, when internal elements tried to take HA weapons by force. Let HA be, let them resist israel, and rule on the internal scene, that was the deal with Hariri, and that's what needed to be destroyed in order to get sunni-shia to kill each other instead of lebanese defending one another.

i believe mustaqbal and LF are the ones bringing us to war, you think it's the other way around. nevermind, it takes two to want peace, and that's not the case in both scenarii, therefore as i said yesterday war is the only possible outcome.
also, keep your hypocrisy, one side invited the other to talk and form unity gov, and the other said "I do not want any partnership with you in a cabinet"
therefore at least have the guts to recognize you're the ones escalating the tensions.
